Consumer Research Partnership Events

The ASWCRN holds ad hoc Consumer Research Parternship Events.  In October 2010 the ASWCRN held one of these such events where breast cancer patients and research nurses from the region were invited to give their feedback and comments regarding a clinical trial that was being developed locally.  The event was an excellent opportunity for local researchers to gain vital feedback from 'lay persons' on the design and potential challengs of the trial.  The ladies who attended the event found the morning to be interesting, throught-provoking and generally commented that it had been extremely positive to be involved in such an event.

If you are interested in getting involved or learning more about the Consumer Research Partnership Events please contact the ASWCRN Research Network Manager, Catherine.Carpenter-Clawson@aswcs.nhs.uk  or tel:0117 9003420
