MDT Co-ordinators Away Day 2012

An away day aimed at MDT Co-ordinators, Data Clerks and cancer managers from all trusts across the Avon, Somerset and Wilshire Cancer Services was held on the 9th October 2012 at Taunton Racecourse between 9.30am and 4pm.

The day aimed to give an overview of current developments in cancer information on both a national and local level and to provide a picture of what cancer data is used for.

Topics discussed included Cancer Outcomes and Services Dataset (COSD), National Awareness and Early Diagnosis (NAEDI) and staging and speakers attended from National Cancer Intelligence Network, Somerset Cancer Register and South West Public Health Observatory as well as ASWCS.
