2. Network Cancer Intelligence Group
The ASWCS Cancer Intelligence Group brings together the commissioners and the providers within the ASWCS Network to ensure that the data, information and intelligence aspects of the Improving Outcomes - A Strategy for Cancer (2011), the Cancer Reform Strategy 2007 and the National Cancer Plan 2000 are implemented across the ASWCS Network, including the delivery of the Cancer Waiting Times Standards.
In addition, the ASWCS Cancer Intelligence Group provides a mechanism for organisations within the ASWCS Network to inform the decision making and prioritisation processes of the ASWCS Board, the ASWCS Commissioning group and the ASWCS Provider Group.
The Network Cancer Intelligence Group will meet on a quarterly basis. Please see the timetable in 1. ASWCS Network Cancer Intelligence Group meetings Calendar - 2011 for the dates and venues of the next meetings.
