What is an NSSG?

An NSSG is a Network Site-Specific Group. It is multi-disciplinary and brings together representatives from professionals across the care pathway, all Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) leads from the relevant Network organisations, and patient representatives. The roles of the NSSGs include aspects of service planning; service improvement or redesign; service quality monitoring and evaluation; workforce development; research and development; and responsibility for producing an Annual Work Plan and Report.
