The Cancer Pathway
A key role of ASWCS is in co-ordinating cancer patient pathways which cross organisational boundaries both within and outside the geographical area of the Network. To co-ordinate pathways for patients covering twelve tumour sites (including children) the Network works closely with clinical teams in secondary care predominantly, but is looking more and more to developing a closer working relationship with primary care professionals.
